This website is primarily about software development. I want to share my knowledge of programming and promote the idea of everyone having at least some basic coding skills. I often publish non-trivial tips & tricks related to programming and improving productivity. I also want to encourage physical activity - that's why articles about cycling appear every once in a while. In order to ensure that this website is a valuable source of knowledge, I came up with these rules:
Up-to-date content
To provide content that does not mislead readers I review all articles at least once a year. I update outdated information and state what changes were made. You can find "Updated" date near every article title.
New & valuable content
I intend to write at least one article every month. However, if I don't have an interesting topic or enough time, I don't publish "placeholder articles". The priority is to provide only high-quality content.
No sponsored content
I do not write articles for money. Strict "no sponsored content" policy ensures that articles are objective and readers don't have to wonder whether the content is trustworthy.
No ads, no paywalled content
This is a non-commercial project. I don't intend to make any money out of it.
No AI-generated text and code
All articles are written by an actual human - me. This applies to both text and code snippets. However, if I can't find a good stock photo, I may use AI to generate images. Of course images that contain information (e.g. infographics) are created by me.
